Dramatically increased import duties. 

 Government of India from time to time imposes import duty called Anti-Dumping Duty. 

 Accordingly, the import duty has been drastically increased for three products.  Such a tax hike is done so that the domestic industry is not affected.

 The duty on import of hydraulic rock breakers has been hiked up to 162.5%.  The tax hike will be effective for five-year periods.  We import a lot  from China and Korea. 

 Next, the import of certain tin plates used for packaging food products has been levied at USD 741 (per one lakh rupees).  This will also be in force for the next five years. 

 Third is the import duty of $614 per unit of telescopic channel drawer sliders.  It will remain in effect for the next six months.
