Central government attempts to participate farmers in export.

There are various co-operative societies in India.  Through this various products are procured directly from its member farmers.

The goods so procured are mostly distributed to the domestic population.  Exports are done very, very little.

In particular, milk is procured to the extent of 17 percent.  But exports are only two percent.  At present, the central government is trying to establish a separate association for this purpose and through it to export the goods purchased all over the country.

The initiative has resulted in the first export order worth Rs 7000 crore.  The central government has said that 50 percent of the profit will be shared with each farmer.  The next export order is expected to be signed for around Rs 15,000 crore.
