The central government is actively trying to increase the sale and export of millets.
Last month, the central government organized a two-day celebration called Millet Makhotsav in Rajasthan.
Various varieties of millets were displayed and sold.
Due to its huge success, the Central Government has decided to conduct this Millet Makhotsav program in 30 districts of 20 states across the country.
Since this year is the year of millet export, it has been decided to not only export but also sell millets across the country.
Lastly, the biggest small grain food fair and sale is going to be held at Pragati Maidan in Delhi on 3rd 4th 5th November.
Through this, millets export and domestic sales are likely to increase.
