Efforts to increase exports to Russia.
About 12 lakh crores of rupees have accumulated in Russia's Indian account after the trade between the two countries was carried out in Indian rupees. Russia could not use it. The main reason for this is that imports are increasing and exports are very low.
Currently, the Indian government has taken steps to increase exports to Russia.
A meeting of around 50 importers and Indian exporters was recently held in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
According to FIEO, there have been trade inquiries for exports of tea, coffee, dairy products, meat and seafood products from India.
