How did a 4th grader become an exporter?
Ravindra Kumar, a fourth-grader from Uttar Pradesh, used to prepare carpets and sell them wholesale.
These floor coverings are less expensive but look like luxury carpets.
The corona virus came when the business was going well.
After that, Ravindra Kumar was forced to close his business completely.
There is no investment in hand to start the business again after the corona pandemic is over.
At this point the Indian Post Office offered him an opportunity.
Dak Niryat Kendras, a body of India Post , conducted a training session with the MSME entrepreneurs.
Ravindra Kumar participated in it.
It is an ecommerce export business training course.
He learned it thoroughly and started exporting carpets to different parts of the world.
This body is responsible for picking up the product from the exporter's home and delivering it to individuals in different countries of the world.
Ravindra Kumar now does not have to go to a post office to submit a document called Postal Bill of Exports.
Online facility is provided by India Post Office.
We have to thank the India Post Department for giving this opportunity to an MSME entrepreneur whose business was crippled.
