Successful farmers in export.
Around a thousand farmers have started a farmer's producing company in Bagalkot, Karnataka.
They grow export quality chilli variety 334 and Super 18.
As they all farm organically, the quality of these chilies is higher than the standard expected in the US and European countries.
Their first business was the export of 200 metric tons to a European country on 26th February.
Orders continue to come in from Europe and America.
The important news is that the farmer who has harvested 10 quintals per acre has earned Rs 1 lakh 15 thousand through export. What matters is how much money a farmer gets from a crop.
