According to APEDA, India is likely to export large quantities of mangoes to the US from April to July this year.
The best-selling Indian mango varieties in the US are Kesar, Alphonsa, and Banganapalli.
Alphonsa mangoes exported from India are expected to sell at $9 per kg this year. At the same time, Alphonsa mangoes imported to America from other countries are expected to sell for only four dollars per kilo.
