APEDA has declared this year as the Year of Export of millets.
APEDA create awareness of millets export opportunities among Indian exporters.
It also creates opportunities for the common man to export.
For example, APEDA recently helped export value-added millets and non-value-added millets produced by women self-help groups in the state of Odisha.
About one ton of millets was exported to Dubai for the first time.
