A few years ago we imported a lot of toys from China.
The substandard toy was rampant in the Indian market.
A lot of foreign exchange was spent on these inferior toys.
To avoid this, the Indian government introduced quality control for the import and production of toys.
Then import of toys decreased by about 75 percent.
At the same time, the central government made investments for domestic quality toy production.
As a result the export of toys has now increased.
We have exported toys worth 395 million dollars from April to November last year.
Our most exported toy countries are USA, UK, Germany, Australia, Netherlands, Sweden, France, Denmark, Canada and UAE.
