Important letter from PHDCCI.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industries, a federation based in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi (PHDCCI), has written an important letter to the Union Finance Ministry.
Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECGC) has recently not been providing credit guarantees to various countries.
In particular, Sri Lanka, Russia and some African countries are not covered by ECGC.
Due to this, various export agreements that have already been agreed have been stalled.
Credit worthiness from ECGC is very important to implement these agreements.
This letter is also important in getting bank loan for export.
Currently, exporters are struggling to export to the above countries as agreed. The organization (PHDCCI) has requested the Union Finance Ministry to look into this issue closely and take a good decision.
