How will Nashik become a major export hub in India?
Recently in Nashik, Union Road Transport Minister laid the foundation stone for construction of 226 km highway with an investment of 1830 crore rupees.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that Nashik is now a major hub for exporting various products.
From here onions, grapes, auto spare parts, vehicles etc. are sent for domestic and foreign trade.
When this highway is completed, it will connect Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh highways.
Besides road transport, this highway also enables rail, air and sea port connectivity.
He said that it would be easy to transport the goods very quickly domestically or for export.
