Countries teasing India.

Countries teasing India.

Some European and African countries have criticized our export-import policies.
Recently the Prime Minister of India had a telephone conversation with the President of the United States.
In this discussion, “A few agricultural commodities in India have yielded enormously. An agreement with the World Trade Organisation to export such surplus agricultural produce is a stumbling block. At the same time, these items are required in various countries of the world. So he asked for a short-term relaxation in the agreement.”
This is what some countries have criticized.
India has banned exports of wheat and broken rice.
The export of sugar has been restricted.
Demand for wheat, rice, and sugar is very high in many countries of the world.
They allege that India is trying to gain more profit by exporting other agricultural products (monopoly) by restricting exports of high-demand products.
These countries do not think about Indian people.
Business is important for them.
But India's view is different.
No country in the world will be able to meet the food needs of the Indian people if India is caught in a food famine or high food inflation.
Therefore, the central government's policy of satisfying the needs of the people first and then exporting only the remaining product is justified. A few countries do not understand this rationale.
