An exporter can obtain this certificate from the Export promotion Council or Chamber of Commerce.

At present such certificates are issued in a minimum of one hour to a maximum of one day.

C/o is certificate of origin.

This certificate certifies that the particular item being exported has been manufactured or produced in the country for which the certificate is issued.

The importer submits this to the customs department of the importing country and gets import duty exemption.

Exporter cannot obtain this certificate for goods not manufactured or produced in the particular country.
