Various scammers have been deceiving many exporters across India over the renewal of their export-import license.
We can renew this license through DGFT website by paying a fee of Rs.200.
But there is a group of people who collect Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000 and cheat without renewing the license.
Realizing this, DGFT posted a warning message on the homepage of their website.
Similarly, fraudulent people have started extorting money from those who are currently registered with APEDA.
A phone call from North India will be received upon registration with APEDA.
The person speaking on it says that I will give the export order and collect the money.
After that, the person never picks up the phone.
Similarly this cheating is going on until now.
New registrants at APEDA mistakenly think that this phone call is from APEDA itself.
Sometimes these scammers introduce themselves as a subsidiary of APEDA.
We have to be very careful with people like this.
