Change made by union government in cashew exports
The Union Government has made a major change in cashew exports.
The Cashew Export Development Board had so far been providing various services to cashew exporters.
Cashew exporters will now come under APEDA as per the orders of the Government of India.
Cashew Export Development Board will no longer be able to provide and renew RCMC cashew exporters.
From now on, the APEDA will take up this work.
But already the certificates or renewed certificates issued by the Cashew Development Board have been declared valid till the date specified therein.
This is a great happy news for exporters.
There is no need to pay lakhs of rupees from now on. It will now cost only a few thousand to become a member of the Development Board.
