Baby corn is one of the most important agricultural products exported from India.
Yields of babycorn available year-round in India may decrease slightly in some states due to water shortage in summer. But baby con will always be available in some part of India.
Available throughout the year so there will often be no price fluctuations.
A Mumbai-based exporter exports 200 tonnes of baby corn a month.
Most of them are exported to Britain.
Indian export data indicates the same. Britain buys only 90 to 95 per cent of the total baby corn exported from India.
This is important an information for new exporters.
One can understand how great the demand is in the UK if 95% of the total exports are bought by one country and rest by the other countries in the world.
